Dr. Jason Guben

 

Dr. Jason Guben, chiropractor DC, has been in practice in the West-Island for over 28 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from McGill University and he graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with clinic honors as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1995. Dr. Guben has completed the Graduate Certificate in Chronic Pain Management at McGill and he currently serves on the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. As a healthcare professional he is dedicated to helping people overcome their pain and disability using manual and physical therapies. ​

 

Dr. Guben treats patients with acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions. The majority of his practice consists of low back pain, neck pain and joint problems – elbows, shoulder and knees. Dr. Guben is also interested in preventing musculoskeletal injuries at the workplace – giving seminars on ergonomics and sitting positions for sedentary workers with very positive feedback since 1998.

Dr. David Keleny

Dr. David Keleny, chiropractor DC, is a resident of Île-Perrot. I graduated from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). I obtained my CEGEP Gerald-Godin diploma in pure science. In 2022, I obtained my doctorate in chiropractic and my radiology license. I'm completing a master's degree in neurophysiology of chronic pain at Université de Montréal (UdeM). I have a passion for a natural, adapted and personalized approach that promotes overall health and improves quality of life. My goal is to help patients overcome pain and disability. I see patients of all ages.

Treatments focus on restoring the function of muscles and joints using a variety of manual therapy techniques.

The Clinical Approach

 

All patients are given a neurological, orthopedic and chiropractic exam in order to assess nerve, joint and muscle functioning. Patients are given a defined plan of management.

Dr. Guben also uses physical therapy modalities such as interferential current, muscle stimulation and ultrasound. Other techniques utilized when necessary include Kinesiotaping, Instrument Assisted soft tissue therapy, flexion-distraction table and activator gun.
